Kansas' 3rd District

Former State Rep. Patricia Lightner is a strong pro-life advocate in Kansas

Washington, D.C. - Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) has announced its endorsement of Patricia Lightner in Kansas' 3rd Congressional District.

Concerned Women PAC, established in 2002 by Founder and Chairman Mrs. Beverly LaHaye, is affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC), the nation's largest public policy women's organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.

The current Representative from the 3rd Congressional District of Kansas is Dennis Moore. Representative Moore is retiring in 2010, making this an open seat.

Patricia Lightner is a solid pro-life voice who has worked in the state legislature on life, marriage, increasing healthcare coverage through free-market principles, and protecting the rights of homeschooling parents and charter schools.

"Concerned Women Political Action Committee endorses Patricia Lightner because she will be a voice for traditional family values and the lives of the unborn in Congress," said Mrs. Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women Political Action Committee

"As a State Representative, Patricia was always a champion for the unborn and traditional marriage, and she is a strong voice of reason on health care reform and for real economic solutions to the pressing problems facing our nation."

Mrs. Penny Nance and Concerned Women Political Action Committee's mission is to elect solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress. Concerned Women PAC sends out a monthly letter to members encouraging them to financially support candidates like Patricia Lightner.
